Avocado, Grapefruit & Fennel Salad

An easy to prepare, and memorable summer salad

The idea of combining grapefruit & avocado came to me via an episode of Queer Eye (of all places!). I would never have thought of putting the two together, but the combination is stellar and it’s a pairing I come back to in lots of different ways.

I never seem to be able to get a photo of this salad before it’s devoured… so here’s a photo of what was left. This is a delicious summer salad, which cuts right through the richness or oiliness of what else you may be pairing it with - this salad has an Italian vibe, and goes well with pasta dishes, risottos, or something like a rich aubergine parmigiana.
